Joy to the world, the Lord is come! Let earth receive her King; Let every heart prepare Him room, And heaven and nature sing, And heaven and nature sing, And heaven, and heaven, and nature sing. Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns! Let men their songs employ; While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains Repeat the sounding joy, Repeat the sounding joy, Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy. No more let sins and sorrows grow, Nor thorns infest the ground; He comes to make His blessings flow Far as the curse is found, Far as the curse is found, Far as, far as, the curse is found. He rules the world with truth and grace, And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness, And wonders of His love, And wonders of His love, And wonders, wonders, of His love.
原詞 Hark the glad sound! [編集] Hark, the glad sound! the Savior comes, the Savior promised long; let every heart prepare a throne, and every voice a song. On Him the Spirit, largely poured, exerts His sacred fire; wisdom and might, and zeal and love, his holy breast inspire. He comes the prisoners to release, in Satan's bondage held; the gates of brass before Him burst, the iron fetters yield. He comes, from thickest films of vice to clear the mental ray, and on the eyes oppressed with night to pour celestial day. He comes the broken heart to bind, the bleeding soul to cure; and with the treasures of His grace to enrich the humble poor. His silver trumpets publish loud the jubelee of the Lord our debts are all remitted now our heritage restored. Our glad hosannas, Prince of Peace, thy welcome shall proclaim; and Heaven's eternal arches ring with Thy belov?d Name.
