I get skin rash each time I do gardening.
Dr.G gave me an allergy shot on my arm.
Also, he prescribed the medicine to treat severe allergies.
I know I shouldn’t scratch my body, but so itchy.
I cannot help it.
An allergen is having a field day inside of my body.
I think I’m not an Outdoor person.
I shouldn’t do gardening.
I get skin rash, deer and their friends eat my flowers.
I love Pansies in falls, but I cannot have any Pansies.
They are candy to Bambi-devils.
The deer population is believed to exceed
40 deer per square mile in our area.
Anyway, I bought pretty Ornamental Peppers and Ornamental kale (flowering cabbages) which John and Kay like.
It seems Ornamental Peppers and Ornamental kale are eatable for human. (I know Deer-devils will eat anything I plant.)
They are essentially the same as vegetables grown in the vegetable garden.
Some people say they don’t taste good. They are bitter.
(John would like them. He loves Bitter melons.)
Even thought we cannot eat them,
I think they are pretty as a garnish.
毎回のことなのですが、今回は常用しているアレルギーの薬も効かず
益々酷くなるのでファミリードクターに検診してもらいました。
｢これは酷い」と即注射を打ってくださって、
強度のアレルギー症状用の薬も処方してくれました。
掻いてはいけないと知っていても兎に角痒いのです。
ドクターが｢体内でアレルゲンが運動会をしている」と言っていました。
やはり、私はアウトドアータイプではないのですよね。
庭仕事はしない方が良いようです。
湿疹は出るし、鹿や“お友達”が花や球根を食べてしまうし・・・
我が家の地域は《バンビ・デビル》が多く生息しています。
外見は可愛いのですが鹿による害に頭を痛めています。
庭の植物は食べられてしまうし、車にはぶつかってくるし・・・
今の時期、カラフルなパンジーが可愛いのですが我が家には植えれません。
パンジーは鹿にとってはキャンディーのように美味しいらしいのです。
懲りもせずにガーデンセンターで花を買ってきました。
ジョンとケイが好きな葉牡丹(花キャベツ)、そして可愛い観賞用ペッパーを鉢に植えました。
どちらも観賞用植物なのですが食べることもできるらしいです。
どんな味なのでしょうね。
ネットでは｢苦い｣｢美味しくない｣という意見が多いようです。
観賞用なので味の方は多分良くないのでしょうね。
食べれなくても料理の飾りに素敵だと思います。
一応１年草扱いですがペッパーは種が沢山出来るので乾燥させて、
来年蒔いたら又実るらしいです。
葉牡丹は来年、踊り葉牡丹に挑戦してみます。
