戦争とテロの絶えないこの世界に
平和を願って祈ります。

あなたは御子イエスの十字架によって
憎しみと暴力に打ち勝ち
愛といのちの連帯を生み出す道を
示して下さいました

わたしたちが、
国や民族の間にある壁を乗り越え
すべての人を同じ神の子として大切にし
相互理解を深め
愛と信頼に満ちた関係を
築いていくことができますように

どうかわたしたちを
平和のために働く者としてください

Prayer for Peace

Dear God, Father of all peoples,
We humbly pray for peace in our world,
Still plagued by war and terrorism.

By the cross of Your Son Jesus,
Victory was gained over
hatred and violence,
And a new way of love
and solidarity was revealed.

We pray that by overcoming
The walls that divide
countries and peoples,
And by treating all people alike
as the children of God,
Deeper mutual understanding will develop
And relationships based on love
and trust will be built.
In this way may we become
Your workers for peace, Amen
