イエス (Yes) は、イギリス出身のプログレッシヴ・ロックバンド。

1969年にデビュー作「イエス・ファースト・アルバム - Yes」を発表、その年のブライテストホープとなり注目された。代表作は「こわれもの - Fragile （1971年）」「危機 - Close to the Edge （1972年）」、ポップ作品として成功した「ロンリー・ハート - 90125（1983年）」などが挙げられる。

このツアーはジュール・ベルヌの小説「80日間世界一周」をモチーフにしたもので、8人の正式メンバーで敢行され、世界各地で大いに盛り上がった。なお、来日公演直前にビル・ブラッフォード脱退という報道がなされ、宣伝写真から彼の姿が消えた事もあったが、なんとかその危機も乗り越え1人の欠員もなくツアーを終えた。
