＜ゆきぷの部＞
ここ１～２年ぐらい、音沙汰がなかった、学生時代の友人から、メールが来た。
彼女は、卒業して間もなく、米国軍人の彼（今の旦那さん）を追いかけて、アメリカへ渡った。
今は、１歳の男の子と４歳の女の子のママである。（だいぶ差がついちゃったなァ^_^;）
ちょうど、子供達を連れて、里帰りしているそうだ。
というのも、旦那さんが、イラクで任務中らしい。
半年間のようだが・・・
・・・彼女は、とても強い人なのだが、どんな心境なのだろう・・・
彼女の旦那さんが無事に帰ってくることを切に願っています。。。

今日は、月一回の英語俳句の集まりがあった。
今回のテーマは「RED LEAVES（紅葉）」だ。
よって、作ったのはコレ。

今回は、今月のベストワン俳句に選ばれました!!! やった～＼(^o^)／
賞品の和菓子ももらっちゃった^m^
先月は、一票も取れず、グループ内で発言が苦手なので、今回の参加を迷っていたけれど、行ってみてよかったなぁ←単純(^^ゞ
ただ、先生から、この俳句は
１．紅葉が落ち
２．女の子がそれを拾い
３．ポケットに入れる

pockets it
ただ、これでも二つの場面になってしまうのだけど(;O;)。
しかし、先生はpickとpocketの組み合わせが「pickpocket（スリ）」を連想させて、面白いし、シンプルでとてもいいと褒めてくれた。ルンルン(^^♪
ちなみにハミルが作ったのは、（※本人は参加していませんが）

これを詠んで、
と、気づいてくれた、あなたに大感謝です^m^
先生に、「ジョークの俳句です」と言いながら披露してみたら、笑ってもらえた。内心、ちょっと気に障るかなって心配してただけに、ホッ(^。^)
また、長くなっちゃった(^_^;) では、次へパスします。
＜ハミルの部＞
I love having a cell phone. I especially like the e-mail function. I don’t need to find a computer to get in touch with friends or family in Canada. I can just send an e-mail with my cell phone. I even send photos. It is a great way to keep in touch. It is convenient in other ways as well. I don’t know how many times I have sent a question to someone I know in Canada and gotten a reply before a lesson was over. I use the SD Card to store photos from our wedding and those I have taken with my digital camera. I have had a cell phone in Japan for a long time. Last year I finally got one that was bilingual. Nowadays they are pretty well all bilingual. The Japanese Vodafone manual is two books. The English part of the phone manual is only about 6 pages. I can figure out most of the functions without the instruction manual but I am missing a lot of information. It would be nice to know more about what my phone can do. I use it to make and receive calls, take photos and videos, send e-mail, and play music. I have no real idea how to use the internet or how much it costs to do so. Most of the websites are for Japanese so I really am not missing much, I guess. My last Vodafone had an English manual posted on the net that I could download. My current 601SH doesn’t (T_T). I wonder what the next generation of phones will do?
