I'm in West Virginia at last! After conducting a seminar for 4 hours in Beckley, Jim and I drove North (and briefly through Ohio) to get to Wheeling for lodging for the night as well as tomorrow's seminar.
Jim and Deanna (the regional coordinator for Beckley) took me to a wonderful place called Tamarack, a very modern and artsy shopping emporium and cafe. The cafe is directly catered by a nearby famous Greenbrier resort, where world-class chef apprentices share their culinary skills.
I tried their vegetable lasagna, saurkraut slaw, and key lime pie. C'est delicieux!
I am exhausted after being up since 4:45 am to get here to conduct the seminar and subsequent driving for another 4 hours.
