" The notion of the psychology of fairy tales.

 A little girl lived a happy life in the country.

ある田舎で、・・

　幸せに住んでいる、一人の少女がいました 。

   But,the long work tired her.

でも・毎日の仕事に、嫌気がさしていました・。

  She had a dream every night.

毎晩・・夢を見ました・・。　

   She was longing to find a strange thing happened.

  不思議なことが起こる・・事を、 憧れていたのでしょうか・  

    One day ,

　ある日・・

    She could find a brightening well in fields.

　野原の辺りに・差しかかると・

　　光り輝く井戸を見つけま した。

    There was no water in the well .

　ただ・・水は、はなく・・のぞいてみると・・

     But,she saw a form in the dark.

　人影らしきものが・・

　　 You konw,

わかるでしょうか・・、彼女の考えている事が

　　She thougt ,

    "If I drink the water ,could I become more happy"

彼女は、もし・・この光り輝く水を飲めば・

　　もっと幸せになれるだろうかと・・

　　She loseted mind.

彼女は、理性を失っていました・・。

     Soon ,she went to the spring-

     in the brightening woods.

 　 　この水は、以前聞いたことのある・・・

　　　 森の中の泉に、違いないと・    

    "Why is she in such  a hurry"

      "Is she suffering from an illness"

  どうしても、考えが、頭から離れないのでした・・・。

     " I have clear image of the place in my mind.

 　    筆者の私には、感じます・・。

　　　"Did she want to drink some water

　彼女が、水を求めてないことが・・

　　   No,・ ・・・

　　She fell in love with the boy in a brightening well.

　彼女は、ふと見かけた・・神秘的な井戸の中の少年に 

     But,there is no chance of meeting him.

    恋をしたのでした・・。でも・ただ。。幻のような・・恋 でした。

     So,she walked around here and there in the -

     brightening woods.

でも・・彼女は、あきらめきれませんでした・・。

    Finally ,she found the spring.

    The spring was brightening .

    It caused her to come here.

ついに、森の中で・・輝く・光りに引き寄せられて・・

    Fortunately,   she found him again

　ようやく。。たどりついた・・泉で、

　　不思議な事に・・以前にあった・

　　少年に逢うことができました。・

    and talked to the boy.

    "Who are you " 

あなたは、だれなの・・

    He answered."Please have a drink "

    As soon as she drank the water -

   of the brightening spring,

　少年は、答えました・・。

　　この光り輝く水を飲んでくださいと・・

  "She noticed that the boy was herself."

 　 彼女が、飲んだ途端・・全てが、分かったのです・・。

　　少年は、水に映っている、彼 女自身でした・・。

And she became an old woman. 

　そして、彼女は、老女になっていました。
