We went out for lunch with Bill and Pam yesterday. A very pleasant time was had by all. Roast chicken and plenty of veg. I was pleased to see Junko eat a hearty portion.

It is still very warm for the time of year, but the dry weather has gone. Over the past couple of days we have had 5mm rain, the only rain of the month, so far. The prospects of a white Christmas look distant, to say the least.

Only another few days until the shortest day of the year, that at least is some progress.

I’ve just found this year-old photo of the garden. I wonder what the differences are with what we see today. It was taken at the end of November 2012.
