I think I'm going to redo my diary (re-type it in Japanese) after getting back home. In the meantime, I'll just write a quikie whenever I can!! However, I feel bad for those people who don't understand English well... Sorry that I can't type Japanese for a while:(
Well, Boxing Day was yesterday. It was the "SHOPPING" day right after Christmas. They usually sell everything on sale (half the price or so...) on that day and people usually line up at stores early in the morning to get in there! For me, I slept in yesterday morning and so did everybody. We didn't go shopping yesterday. Besides, we had to prepare for a Cheese Fondue party here last night.
As I really wanted to get OUT (We haven't really gone out since we got here.) and J-bear had an appointment with his friend to meet up, all of us decided to go to a mall in downtown. While J-bear was chatting with his friend, we went shopping.
Even though it wasn't Boxing Day, there were still lots of people shopping in the mall. The only store in the mall I wanted to go to was Old Navy. On the way there, J-bear's mom wanted to go to some store where all their products (soap, perfumes, candles etc.) were from France. We just dropped by there and she bought a couple of things for herself as her own Christmas gifts:) She also got me a Green Tea candle with mint in it, which smells really GOOD!!
We only had an hour to go shopping (We went to the mall really late.), so we just went up straight to Old Navy. Most of the stuff was on sale at the store, as I had expected. At first, I was going to get black long sleeves with shiny black beads around the neck. I was walking around the store, holding it. J-bear's mom also got the same one. As soon as I saw long black wint jackets, I changed my mind!! He He
The original price for those jackets was around 100 bucks, and it was half of it. Also, in AB they don't charge two taxes (we only pay for one tax) unlike BC. I decided to get one of those black jackets with hoodies (They had two different types. I chose a thick jacket. I think it's got cotton in it.).
I was pretty happy to get that jacket instead of the long sleeves. As I didn't get those long sleeves, J-bear's mom decided not to! That was funny:)
With the leftover time we just went to Chapters (a bookstore) to check books out.
That was it for today's shopping!
