Dogs were scared by dropping sound of the hailstones for few minutes.
Duchess was calmer than Duke.
I think female is brave than male.

Why he parked the car outside???

We have a Two-car garage, but we have too much stuff occupied more than half of the garage.
Also, he wanted the cars get clean by the rain.

Car owners in Tulsa frenetically wash their cars.
(Even I visited the car wash once or twice per week
while we lived in Tulsa.)
You rarely see a dirty car on the road. Same in Japan....

Here in New York, you see many cars covered by salt/sand in Winter.
My car is one of them.
My car is blue, but looks more like Silver after snow days until heavy rain fall.

Of cause, we love our cars... but we do not worship cars like Indian.( Worship of Vehicles - Car Puja )
(By the way, we got "Slumdog Millionaire" from Netflix.I cannot wait to watch it.)

We think our dogs are cutest in the world,
but we are not rich, so we don't worship dogs like rich people.

Then what do I worship?

犬達はパチパチと霰が天窓や外壁に当たる音に
数分興奮していましたが
Duchの方が直ぐに落ち着きました。
やはり女性の方が肝が据わっているようです。

オクラホマでのゴルフボールサイズの霰と比べると小さくて可愛い物で外に止めている車への被害の心配をしなくても良さそうです。

二台が十分に収容できる車庫が在るのに
何故に外に車を止めていたか

ジョンが雨降りの天気予報を聞いて洗車目的の為に外に駐車したのです。
それに車庫の中は色々な物で混雑していて二台を駐車出来るスペースがないので
ジョンのホンダは常に外に止めています。

市民全員が洗車に情熱を燃やしているオクラホマのトルサに住んでいる時は、
私も最低週に一回は洗車に行っていました。
汚れた車を街で見かけることは稀でした。(日本と同じですね～）

ここニューヨークの片田舎では冬の間、除雪用の砂や塩に塗れた車が多いです。
私の車もその一台でして(雨で洗車されるまでは）
本来のブルーカラーよりもシルバーに見えます。

勿論、自家用車を愛していないわけではないのですが、
インド人の様に車崇拝する気はありません。

（インドと言えば、今年アカデミー賞を獲得した「スラムドック＄ミリオネア」のＤＶＤをネットレンタルで借りれました。見るのが楽しみです。）

私は我が家の犬達が多分世界で一番可愛いと本気で思っていますが
私達はお金持ちではないのでペットの犬を崇拝することも無いですね～。

（ところで何故《犬ばか》と言うのでしょうか？
《飼い主ばか》が正しいと思うのですが・・・
英語では《親ばか》はＤoting parentsで、
《犬ばか》はdoting dog ownerで《飼い主ばか》です。）
