　この物語は、子ぶたの三兄弟がそれぞれ家を建てるところから始まる。
　わらの家と木の家はオオカミに壊されてしまうが、レンガ造りの家だけは丈夫なためオオカミから逃れることができたというもの。
　後半、オオカミに食べられずに済んだことを喜ぶ子ぶたたちが歌い踊る場面がある。その背景にある額縁の中の絵に注意。

　そこには、なにやらソーセージらしきものが……。さらに、下の部分にはアルファベットで「FATHER」の文字。
FATHERといえば父、父親、お父さん、とーちゃん、親父……。まさか、これは三兄弟のお父さんの変わり果てた姿なのか

　観ていてただ楽しいだけでなく、時には考えさせられるようなシーンがあるのがディズニー作品の一つの特徴である。彼らの父親の身に起きたことを案じずにはいられない。

表面の出来事やコトバや動作の向こうにある深い意味。　
　通りすがりの人だって、飛んできた黒い蝶だって黄色いトンボだって縞々の蜘蛛だって、何か「因縁」を背負って生きている。それが、何かの具合でこちらに関わってくるかも知れない。
　生き物の気配とはそういうものかも知れない。
