The angry customer stormed into the Travel Centre and said to the clerk, “I've been calling 0800-1900 for two days and can't get through to your operator. What's the story?”
The clerk was puzzled. “Where did you get that number from, sir?”
“It's written on your door,” the customer replied.
The clerk barely concealed a smirk. “Sir, those are our opening hours.”
A minister received a mail one morning. Drawing a single sheet of paper from an envelope, he found written on it only one word: "FOOL".
The next Sunday he announced, "I have known many people who have written letters and forgot to sign their name. But this week I received a letter from someone who signed his name and had forgotten to write a letter."
Johnny had been misbehaving and was sent to his room. After a while he emerged and informed his mother that he had thought it over and then said a prayer.
"Fine" said the pleased mother. "If you ask God to help you not misbehave, He will help you."
"Oh, I didn't ask Him to help me not misbehave," said Johnny. "I asked Him to help you put up with me."

She then thinks, that the doctor might be able to heal her husband who suffers from virility problems. The man visits the doctor and when he comes home, he just said that he needed 5 min for himself in the bedroom. Afterwards, he had no problems at all...

It was Grandpa's 100th birthday and everybody who gathered for the occasion complimented him on how youthful and athletic he looked.

The widow sat with her brow furrowed listening to the speech until she could bear it no longer. Leaning over to one of her children, she whispered, "Go up there and have a look in the coffin to make sure that's really your father in there."
A man was sitting alone in his office one night when a genie popped up out of his ashtray and said, "And what will your third wish be?"
The man looked at the genie and said, "Huh? How can I be getting a third wish when I haven't had a first or second wish yet?"
"You have had two wishes already," the genie said, "but your second wish was for me to put everything back the way it was before you made your first wish. Thus, you remember nothing, because everything is the way it was before you made any wishes. You now have one wish left."
"Okay," said the man, "I don't believe this, but what the heck. I wish I could live with Lucy forever."
"Funny," said the genie as it granted his wish "That was your first wish, too!" and disappeared forever.

A woman got onto a bus with her baby. As the driver handed her a ticket, he commented, “Wow, that is one ugly baby!”
Although shocked, the woman held her tongue and found a seat next to an old man. The man, noticing that she was fuming, asked if she was OK.
The woman replied. “No, I'm not! That bus driver just insulted me!”
“Why, that's terrible!” the man said. “He's a public employee so he ought to show you respect. If I were you, I'd get his badge number and file a complaint.”
“You know, you're right,” the woman nodded. “I think I will report him.”
“Well then,” the old man continued, “You go on up there and get his badge number. I'll hold your monkey for you.”
A businessman arrives at a hotel late at night and asks for a single room. As he is waiting for the clerk to fill out the paperwork, the man sees a beautiful, sexy woman sitting in the lobby.
He asks the clerk to wait a minute and disappears, coming back a minute later with the woman on his arm.
“Fancy bumping into my wife here,” he says to the clerk. “I guess you can make that a double room for tonight.”
The next morning, the businessman goes to check out, and finds his bill to be almost two and a half thousand dollars.

Morris had been playing golf for years, and he had the finest equipment, but his technique never improved a bit. As his friend watched, he teed up at the first hole and promptly drove a brand-new ball into the woods. On the second hole, he drove another new ball into a lake. Judy's boyfriend Mike had moved house, so Judy rang directory assistance to get his new number. Upon dialing the number, a woman answered, so Judy asked, “Is Mike there?”
“He's in the shower,” the woman replied.
“Well, can you please tell him that his girlfriend called,” Judy said and hung up.
After waiting for an hour and not hearing back, Judy dialed the number again. A man answered, “Hi, this is Mike speaking.”
“You're not my boyfriend!” Judy exclaimed.
“Yeah, I know,” he answered, “That's what I've been trying to tell my wife for the last hour.”
An angry motorist went back to a garage where he'd purchased an expensive battery for his car six months earlier.
"Listen," the motorist grumbled to the owner of the garage, "when I bought that battery you said it would be the last battery my car would ever need. It died after only six months!"
"Sorry," apologized the garage owner. "I didn't think your car would last longer than that."
A guy invited a couple of friends around to his new apartment, and after a few drinks, he gave them a guided tour.
Seeing a big brass gong in his bedroom, the curious friends asked “What's the gong for?”
“Oh, that's not a gong,” the guy replied, “It's a talking clock.”
“A talking clock?” the friends exclaimed. “How does it work?”

The CEO was scheduled to speak at an important convention so he asked one of his employees, Jenkins, to write him a punch, 20-minute speech. When the CEO returned from the big event, he was furious.
