An old granny who lived in a fifth floor apartment fell and broke her leg. After fitting her with a cast, the doctor advised her not to climb any stairs until the break was healed.
After several months, the granny went to have her cast taken off.
“Doctor,” she asked, “Is it alright for me to climb stairs now?” “Yes,” the doctor replied.
“Thank goodness!” the granny grinned, “I was getting sick of shinnying up and down that drainpipe!”
A man left his home in snowy Alaska for a vacation in sunny Florida. His wife was to meet him there the next day.
On reaching his hotel, he decided to send his wife a quick e-mail. However, he was unable to find the piece of paper on which he had written her e-mail address, so he did his best to type it from memory.
Unfortunately, he made a small error in the address, and the e-mail was sent instead to an elderly preacher's wife, whose husband had passed away only the day before.
When the grieving widow checked her e-mail, she let out a horrified scream and fainted. Her shocked family rushed into the room to see what was wrong and saw this message on the screen:
My Darling Wife, Just got checked in. Everything ready for your arrival tomorrow. Your Loving Husband
A young couple on their honeymoon are staying in the Watergate Hotel.
The new bride, recalling what the hotel is famous for, says to her husband, “What if the place is still bugged?”
“Hmm...Good point,” he nods.
“I'll take a look.” He searches the room, looking behind the curtains, behind the furniture and under the rug.
“Found one!” he shouts. Sure enough, under the rug is a small circular plate, with four screws in it. He gets his Swiss army knife, unscrews the screws and throws them and the plate out the window.
The next morning, the hotel manager asks the newlyweds “How was your room? How was the service? How was your stay at the Watergate Hotel?”
Curious that the manager is so attentive, the groom says, "Why, are you asking us all these questions?”
The hotel manager replies "Well, the room UNDER yours complained last night that the chandelier fell on them!”
A tearful man sat at a bar, staring into his glass for over an hour. A big, rough-looking biker plonked himself down next to the man, grabbed the man’s drink and drank it in one. The man burst into tears.
“Oh, come on,” the biker said, “I was only kidding. Here, I’ll get you another drink.”
“No, that’s not what’s wrong,” the man sobbed.
“This has been the worst day of my life. This morning I made a big mistake at work and was fired. Then when I left the office, I found my car had been stolen so I had to walk all the way home. And when I got home, I walked in and found my wife in bed with my best friend, so I came here. And just when I'm about to end it all, you come in and drink my poison!"
A diver was 20 feet below the splashing waves of the ocean. He saw a guy at the same depth he was, with no scuba gear on at all.
The diver went down another 10 feet further, but the guy joined him a minute later. The diver dove down 15 more feet, and a minute later, the same guy joined him.
The diver didn’t understand what was happening, so he took out a waterproof pad and pencil, and wrote, "Incredible! I can’t believe it! How are you able to stay down at this depth without equipment?"
The guy took the pencil and pad, erased what the diver had written, and wrote, "I'm drowning, you moron! Help me!"
The roads were blocked due to a traffic accident. As a large crowd gathered, a young newspaper reporter, anxious to get his story, tried unsuccessfully to get closer to the scene.
Being smart, he started shouting loudly, "Excuse me! Let me through! I am the son of the victim."
The doctor sat his patient down and said, “I have some good news and some bad news.”
The patient replied, “Then I'd like to hear the good news first.”
The doctor continued, “Well, they're going to name a disease after you.”

The priest started talking about all the wonderful traits the man had possessed and what a kind and honest man he was, and what a great husband and loving husband he had been.

“She wasn't talking to me,” the man explained, “She was talking to the doctor.”

Angrily, back into the house she went. As the man was getting ready to edge the lawn, here she came out again, marched to the mail box, opened it and then slammed it closed harder than ever.
Puzzled by her actions the man asked her, "Is something wrong?"
To which she replied, "There certainly is. My stupid computer keeps saying, 'YOU'VE GOT MAIL'!!!"
