South Korea’s second largest automobile manufacturer, Kia Motors Corporation, is all set to make its debut in India with its brand new SUV KIA SELTOS. Aligned with the SP concept pictured at the 2018 Auto Expo. KIA SELTOS has been specifically moulded into a design for Indian market. The brand new compact SUV is making its debut worldwide and is expected to be launched in India anytime near August this year. At its unveiling, KIA SELTOS looked appealing, all-inclusive. KIA SELTOS looks appealing in terms of its proportion. The compact SUV boasts of tiger nose grille and proportionally placed LED headlights. To adorn the car’s front comes vertically placed fog lamps and DRLs. The crystal cut alloy wheels fit perfectly into the wheel wells. On the rear, the end to end LED tail lights give a bold look to the vehicle. Our comprehensive look at the KIA SELTOS also revealed the use of chrome bars that give a premium look to the vehicle. KIA SELTOS ON ROAD PRICE Kia Seltos Price in Chennai  ranges from INR 9.89 lakh to 17.34 lakh (ex-showroom) while on the other side the Kia Seltos Price in Delhi starts from Rs. 9.89 Lakh. The control center is a 10.25 inch touch screen placed on the dash of the cabin. The car also provides Apple CarPlay and Android auto.

KIA SELTOS comes equipped with up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, HAC and VSM etc. It also sports 360 degree camera and front and back parking sensors. Other notable safety features include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control System, a Brake-Assist System and Hill-start Assist Control etc. Additionally, KIA SELTOS sports a sound mode lamp, which is a unique feature in which speaker lights pulse in time to the music being played giving a soothing effect to the interiors. There are 11 different rainbow colors and 6 mood effects available.

Kia India Seltos Engine And Gearbox Options

For lndia, the brand brings in 1.4-litre GDI Turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine and both will be BS6 compliant. As for gearbox, options available are: a six-speed torque convertor automatic, a seven-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT), a CVT gearbox and a six-speed manual transmission. The brand will be launching SELTOS in two variants viz. Tech line and GT line,with the former being more about premium looks and comfort and latter being about new and exciting features. The car also offers different modes of driving including Normal, Sport and Eco. It also lets you select the course of driving between mud, wet and sand.
