未だに96売っています。

これだけレアーなワインを輸入販売しているのは土浦鈴木屋です。この店も保管が悪いとか外れに当ったとか賛否ありますが、貴重なワインの宝庫です。結構当りも多いですよ。特にローヌの赤のコレクションは素晴らしいです。

最近ピノが多いのでローヌのジュワ～～ンと来るワインが飲みたくて開けてみました。

素晴らしい香りです。濃密です。

パワー感があってまだ癒し系まで来ていませんが、十分ジュワ～～ンと来ますね。

一人でチョコチョコ3日で飲んだのですが、ヘタらないワインです。この手のワインは酸化に強いですね。

色は濃く深いルビー色、香はグッと来るベリーやプラム香、スパイス、レザー、味わいは複雑で濃密な果実味、適度に丸みがあって果実に隠れる強いタンニン、しっかりした酸、スケールの大きなワインです。余韻も長く素晴らしいワインだと思います。

ローヌ最高の造り手ブリュッセさんのワインです。ボディがありソフトで香り高いものです。素晴らしいフルーツ香とフラワリーな香りがありソフトで厚みのあるタンニンが美味しいです。ジゴンダスでも傑出の造り手として有名なこの蔵は、跡取りの若いダニエルが畑から醸造まで見ております。96年も優秀な出来。

1996 Domaine Brusset Gigondas

The 1996 Gigondas Les Hauts de Montmirail (the cuvee imported to the United States that is aged for 12 months in 100% new oak casks), is one of the vintage's most intensely-flavored wines. In a year where few vignerons obtained this kind of extract in the southern Rhone, Brusset's wine boasts a black/purple color, and a gorgeous nose of blackberry fruit intermixed with spice and powdered stone-like aromas. There is also a touch of prune in this wine, which appears to have been produced from a very late harvest. Full-bodied, rich, and pure, with layers of fruit, this gloriously expressive, round, generous Gigondas should drink well for 12-15 years. Given the dry tannin in the finish, readers are advised to cellar it for 4-5 years.

Grape varieties :   65% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault.
  Type de soil :   Stony terraced vineyards on alluvions and molasse facing full south.
  Yield :   30 hl / ha.
  Harvest :   Hand-picked and selected following strict ripeness checks.
  Vinification :   Crushing, destalking, no yeast added.
Fermentation in vats for 15 days with twice daily "pigeages".
  Maturing :   60% in vats and 40% in 2 to 4 years old "demi-muids".
  Ageing :   8 to 10 years.
  Appearance :   A carmine red colour.
  Aroma :   Overripe red fruit aromas with a touch of mineral and vanilla.
  Taste :   A full bodied flavour, with good and silky tannins.
An elegant and harmonious wine.
  Serve with :   Red meats and cheeses.
