オーストリーのロマネ・コンティ等と言われる蔵で、自然派を除けば圧倒的な品質を誇ります。

凝縮感のあるミネラルと隙の無い完璧な仕上げ、正にヴァッハウのトップドメーヌです。

04です。まだまだ熟成可能ですが飲み頃に入って来た感じがします。

色は薄めの麦藁色、香は熟れた甘夏、フローラルな白い花の香、フレッシュハーブ、石油、ミネラル香、味わいは強い酸、強いミネラル、酸を覆い隠す深い果実味、余韻に残る僅かな甘味、ふくよかで切れの良いワインです。

春の山菜、野菜料理や和食にも合いますが、牡蠣とも合います。

適度な熟成感もあって懐の深いスケール感のある辛口白ワインです。

流石ピヒラーです。

The 2004 Riesling Smaragd Loibnerberg was bottled ten days prior to my tasting it. Aromas of lime, peppermint, peach, and white pepper lead to a sleek, glossy mouthful of juicy citrus, aromatic green herbs, and an astonishingly vivid, even tactile, sense of minerality by way of crushed stone, sea salt and white pepper. All of these flavors carry impressively if austerely into the finish, where a distinct note of peach pit bitterness acts as a sort of musical fermata.
