昨日、友人と都内で会った。そこでたまたま信号待ちをしていると目の角にジューススタンドが目に入り、暑いし喉も渇いたのでジュースを飲むことにした。そこで感激したのがミックスジュースがあったこと。関西人ならご存知だが、ミックスジュースは喫茶店の定番メニューでもあり、関西のいたるジューススタンドには必ずミックスジュースがある。ミックスジュースとは牛乳とバナナやりんご、缶詰のモモやミカンをシロップごとミキサーにかけて作るフルーツジュースのこと。栄養満点でおいしいのに、どうして関東にはないのか以前から不思議でした。関東にはないので、いつも関西に帰省するたびに必ずミックスジュースを飲むは私の「やるべきリスト」項目には必ず入るくらい、私は子供の頃からミックスジュースが大好き！なので、昨日発見した時は本当に感激してしまった。もちろん迷わずミックスジュースを注文したのはいうまでもありません。（笑）ミックスジュース、もっと題材的に進出して欲しいなと、飲みながらひそかに願うのでした。（苦笑）
Yesterday I met my friend in Tokyo. While we were waiting for the traffic to turn green, I found a juice stand in the corner of my eyes. Since it was hot and we were thirsty, we decided to drink some juices. I was very happy to find that there was mix juice there. All the people from Kansai area know the fact that mix juice is one of the basic menues in the coffee shops and every juice stand in Kansai area has mix juice on their menues. Mix juice is a juice made from milk, bananas, apples, canned peaches and canned tangerines.You put all of them, even the sweet syrups in the cans in a mixer and you made yourself a fruit mix juice. It's very nutritious and very delicious,too. I always wondered why there wasn't any mix juice in Kanto areas. Because there aren't any in Kanto areas, every time I go back to Kansai, drinking mix juice during my stay is one of my must to do things. And that's how much I like it since I was a child. So when I found it yesterday at the juice stand, I was surprised and very happy. While I was drinking my mix juice, I wish that it would be a big hit of a drink someday.

あの微妙な甘さは缶詰の甘いシロップなんですよ。
ぜひ、また挑戦してみてくださいね。
ファンケルのジュース屋さんは青汁系が多いようで
品川の駅前のジュース屋さんで、私達はミックスジュースを見つけましたよ。 (2006.08.02 08:18:01)
