ああいう思い
あの事故以来、もう二度とああいう思いをしたくなくて、周りにも迷惑をかけたくないので自転車に乗ることをやめました。
● I haven't ridden a bicycle since then, out of my dread of going through that kind of experience and a desire to avoid causing trouble for others.
● Ever since then I've wanted so much to avoid having such an experience, and to cause trouble for others, that I've stopped riding bicycles.
この場合の「思い」は experience（経験）で表現すればいいでしょう。
I'll never go back to that store after the bad experience I had there
（あの店ではひどい目に遭ったので、二度と行かない）
