Hi there, Thankyou all for being so patient with me,writing journal isn't as easy as it may seem, but I know it's a challenge for me to be able to express more and more about myself. My difficulty lies in the fact that i find it hard to talk about small things,ie..what i ate for breakfast ,or about the weather and what was on TV last night. Don't get me wrong,as I enjoy reading others dairies and find some humorous and delightful,no matter what the subject is,because in a way it's an opportunity to gain insight into others thoughts and about their life!
Recently I linked to a new site, and read a lot of Haiku poems, they were so simple and pleasing to read and I couldn't beleive how a few words could say so much. reminds me again of that quote about how difficult it is to be simple..
So I want to compose a poem now,it's not Haiku style but that's my goal to make a poem simple as possible with tremendous and deep meaning. I like making references to symbols of life and truth, ie.elements like water, rain ,wind, sea or ocean ,light of sun or moon.fountain is metaphorical for source of life. So Metaphorical is an adjective,we use a word to mean something different from their ordinary meaning.I think Haiku poetry is like that..
Your poem is nice as it rhymes. Actually I don't know how to write poems and haiku in English but I try to write my feeling in English. After trying to write haiku,I began to see around me more carefully. Maybe my brain works more than before. Thinking haiku is a good way to avoid senility,I heard.

Senility can't be too bad, because one would not know if they became senile!
Haiku is so pleasing for the soul..
ripples on the lake. Dim my image. Stillness returns, reflecting my soul.
