In this era, lives two human kids.
Ayla, a girl of the Others, wondered through the forest after lost her whole relatives in big earthquake. The Clan of the Cave Bear happened to pass by and picked her up. Alya's appearance and way of thinking were completely different from the Clan, but she was adopted by the Clan and live as a clan.

I picked up this book recommended at other blog and requested it to library.
When I start reading it, I was fascinated by the story.
It reminds me the Japanese near past custom and I felt strong sympathy to Ayla struggling in the strong custom.
The author Jean Auel is very good at structuring the whole world and I could feel the story quite real.
Recommends to every Japanese woman who feels stress in Japanese male-dominated society. If you feel it difficult to read in English, don't hesitate to read in Japanese. You must not miss this book!
