あちこちで「寒い、寒い」の声。
今年、暖冬の噂が流れたのが３か月前ですが、
ここまで寒くなると、自然に関するうわさ程
アテにならないのだなと思います。
さて、今日、１月１７日は
６４３４人が犠牲となった阪神大震災から１８年に
ります。
なにも被害がなかったのですが、暮れの大掃除に、
細い外壁内の飾り柱に小さなヒビをみつけた時には、
そして、神戸市では昨年、震災を知らない市民が
人口の４割を超え、街並みにも傷痕はほとんど見られ
なくなったとのこと。
関西の立ち直りの速さを思います。
一方、家を失った人たちが移り住んだ復興公営住宅は
１人暮らしの高齢者が増え、一層の見守りが必要になって
いるそうで、被災地経済も低迷から脱し切れず、
経済的に立ち直れない被災者の姿も垣間見えるそうです。
国の災害援護資金は、約２割が未返済で問題になりましたが
救済はまだ必要なのではないでしょうか？
それより歴史の浅い東日本大震災でさえ、関連事業の助成金を
「え？それって、もう終わったことでしょ？」
「これからの福祉に助成したいので」という若い方の返事。
震災というモノ、支援をするということを改めて自問している
３か月です。
ですが、被害にあわれた皆々様に心からお見舞い申し上げ、
私たちに、何が出来るのでしょうか？
