そして私はダナに憧れて「 ホストマザー 」を実現させた。 ６０代リタイア生活のダナと私は、年齢も経済面も「ホストマザーを持続する理由・動機」も異なっていた 。私は2年で「 ホストマザー 」を辞めた。ダナは大学と留学生の間では評判が良い「 20年間ベテランのホストマザー 」だった。
ダナの料理になると、どうしても私は話が延長してしまう。私には「 ダナの愛情料理 」と「 金沢の両親の愛情料理 」は対等だ。誰かが「 自分のために食事を用意してくれる 」は「 愛情表現 」と私は考えている。
