Kadomatsu says that he likes progressive, especially YES , and he has been interested in writing big piece of progressive .
Besides, he was fed up with writing songs with stereotyped form of verse A, verse B and chorus, which is innocuous and commercially-acceptable.
With such adventurous spirit, he wrote " The moment of 46 billion years
Incidentally, there was a big change in Kadomatsu's life; right before his fifties, he married and had a child.
When his wife was in pregnancy, he heard that a fetus follow an evolutionary pattern of life on Earth.
This also inspired him in writing this suite.
At his 30th anniversary concert in June 2011, he declared that he's going to keep on his career at least until seventy.
