NO starting smoking【シリーズ10-line】：迷いモンシロチョウ2010

From this April, new laws against indoor smoking is enforced, but there seem to be smokers who still haven't aware that.
Due to Novel Corona-virus infection, in our country alone, various things and events have been postponed or suspended or cancelled,
But I hope this new regulation won't be postponed.
When Novel Pneumonia began to threaten our country, I happened to see an online article that smokers tend to be higher in fatality rate from Novel Pneumonia .
I haven't heard this fact is reported so widely, but just after I took up this composition, I happened to find an online column saying that specialists have pointed out that smoking is a factor that make people vulnerable to Novel Corona-virus, both active and passive smoking .
Thus, healthcare authorities have to suggest to prohibit smoking and prevent secondhand smoking as a countermeasure against Novel Corona-virus
Smokers and tobacco dealers must admit the fact that smoking makes conventional respiratory diseases more serious.
Why am I so harsh on smoking? It's as usual -but as for today, it's because I develop asthma in winter from last winter.
Tobacco smoke is dangerous for asthmatics, including seasonal asthmatics like me.

One of the reasons I appreciate our country's Olympic invitation was:

-Even though smoking assemblies try to obstruct.
However... Whatever the reasons International Olympic Committee still cling to bulldozing Olympic game as planned, now I'd like to order them to face the reality :
Various countries restrain visits to our country and refuse our nation's entry.
　Our country also restricts entries from countries where infection is spreading.
Under such situation, do athletes want to visit our country?
　　　No matter how our country succeeds in controlling infection or developing remedies, if virus is brought in our country, another outbreak can occur from our country.
-I know, I know... I'm not the right one to insist such things here.
our country doesn't have a decision right whether to hold Olympic game as planned .
But at least, I'm also the one who don't want our country and Capital prefecture to be source of outbreak forever.
It's also necessary to ask WHO to refrain from confusing the world with haphazard proclamation.
I confess I've felt that their series of proclamation have been full of inconsistencies and out of reality from the beginning, and pandemic declaration was too late.
There is no talking back for them if general public worldwide complain that WHO is not functioning and they have no more significance of existence, or accuse that they are intimidated or bribed by China.

While I was grappling with this translation, opinions began to come up openly in our country that it's better to postpone upcoming Olympic game one or two years than bulldozing in this year.
Even so, central Panjandrums and IOC still cling to Olympic game as planned -as for Chairman Mori, it's for the sake of his interests.

Unless they can show clear and practical answer, then the U.S. must accept the host of Olympic game in this year, and they can enjoy as much as they please, can't they?

Our country had better concentrate on developing specific remedies for Novel Corona-virus instead of just four-week upcoming Olympic and Paralympic games.
