７）メールの返信を頻繁に催促してくる人には気を付けろ
こちらの都合も考えずに、メールの返信を催促してくる人は、大抵自己中心的でわがままな人です。また意外に思われるかもしれませんが、毎日のメール交換はオススメしません。何故なら、互いに仕事を持った自立した大人同士が、中学生の交換日記のようなことをするのは幼稚だからです。ダラダラと単調な毎日のメールを書き送るより、２、３日に一度彼の心に残るような美しいメールを送った方が、あなたへの印象が何倍もアップしますよ。

わたしもそれ程美しいメールが書けたという自信はありませんが、遠距離恋愛中は、恋愛映画などを観て表現力を養いました。欧米人の彼に対しては「ちょっとキザ」くらいで調度良いです。彼の想像力を刺激するような表情や色のあるメールを書く練習をして下さい。重要なのは英語力ではなくて表現力です。
