実際問題として、Dax氏は表舞台にはいません。ただ実際には彼に近い人たちからも、また彼自身からも辞めると言う話は聞いていませんし、"充電中"や"中断中"などとも言われています。Alek氏(Dark-AleX.orgの管理人)もDaxはそのうち戻ってくると何回か言及しています。

I highly doubt Sony have employed Dax, why would they? all dax does is reverse engineer their firmware and add his own features, that may sound like a big deal to us (and it is) but you have to remember that Sony have software developers that wrote the entire PSP firmware, a much more difficult and skilled process than hacking it up, they already have fine developers why would they want to approach Dax?

As for the server being shut down, maintenance/cost issues?! come on man, I can buy a .com domain name and some pretty good hosting for ￡10.50 per year, maintenance?! what maintenance? they ran forums which had administrators and moderators, the only maintenance I can see that would be required is the occasional backup both of the data and the database, compacting the database every now and again maybe, I call bullshit.... as such it's logical to surmise some kind of legal action took place against dax and/or M33 and their server, and legal action that isn't allowed to be spoken of... hence the secrecy, there are also some other issues...
サイトを閉じた話についてもメンテナンスやコストの問題だと思っていますか?!そんなはずはありませんよ。私だって.comドメインくらい取れますしサーバーを借りたって年間10.5ポンド程です。メンテナンス?!一体何をメンテナンスするんですか？彼らはフォーラムを運営していましたが、管理人もモデレーターもいたんですよ。メンテナンスと言ったって時々データとデータベースのバックアップを取るだけですし、データベースと言っても今や大した容量でもないし。だからDaxとM33やサイトに対して何らかの法的手段が取られたと考えるのが自然です。さらにそのことを公言するべからず状態だったとか...つまりは秘密にせざるを得なかったということです。他にも問題点はあると思いますが...

Meh... if dax/M33 come back, fantastic... if not, oh well... I guess GEN will continue to muddle through until they themselves give up and the scene dies..
まあ、DaxやM33がカムバックを果たしたとしたら、それは素晴らしい話でしょう。もしそうならないとすると...GENチームにかき回され続けることになるでしょう。GENチームがギブアップしてPSPが終わる日まで...
