Pooh was taking a walk. When he came near Piglet’s house, Piglet was jumping.
Jump, jump, jump and jump.
“What do you do?” He asked.
“Oh! Pooh. Good evening”. Piglet answered meanwhile he jumped.
“Good evening. What do you do?”
“I want to get a star”.
“A star?”
“Yes, I try to get it.”
“Maybe you can’t. Because you are very little. I am taller than you. I try it.”
Jump, jump, jump and jump.
But he could not get reach the star.
“Why can’t I?”
“ I thought while you were jumping. The star would fall down if we poked it with a long rod.
“That’s a good idea.”
They looked for a long rod. But it was not anywhere. So they used the North Pole. Pooh took it.
Poke, poke, poke and poke.
But the star did not fall down.
“Why the star dose not fall down?”
“I guess the star is so far.”
“Oh! Can’t I get it?” Piglet felt sad.
Don’t weep, piglet. How about to climb a tall tree?”
“That’s a great idea!”
They climbed the tallest tree around them.
Climb, climb, climb and climb.
Middle of three, they took a rest. They were a little tired. Because the tree was so big.
Then climb, climb, climb and climb.
At last, they reached at the top of the tree. They hold out their hand to the star. But they didn’t touch anything. They stretched out their hand farer, but didn’t touch anything too.
“Why can’t we touch anything?”
They thought how to get a star at the top of the tree. There is no sounds. Sometimes wind blew. The stars were shining. It was beautiful.
Suddenly, the branch that they sat on broke in two.
Pooh dropped!
“Oh! Pooh!!”
Piglet cried and climbed down in a hurry.
“Pooh! Pooh! Are you all right? All right?”
“I have a good idea…”
“What?”
“Flashed across when I hit my head…”
“Hit your head!?”
“We should ask Owl. Owl can fly. He can fly higher than the tree. We must ask him to catch a star.”
“Pooh! What a smart bear you are!!”

Pooh and Piglet went to Owl’s house. Of course he sat up.
“Catch a star? Ha!”
Owl made fun of them.
“Can’t you?”
“Can’t I? Ha!” He replayed angrily.
“I have nothing that I can’t. You may have a lot of things that you can’t as you are fool.”
“Would you catch a star for us?”
“Of course, for foolish you”

Pooh and Piglet waited for Owl near by Piglet’s house.
It became bright more and more. The sun was raising. The star faded away.
“The stars fade away”
“Can Owl catch a star?”
“I don’t know…”

“Good morning.” Christopher Robin came.
“Good morning.”
“What are you doing here?”
“We are waiting for Owl.”
“Do you have a promise with him?”
“Yes, he would catch a star for us.”
“Catch a star?”
He laughed. And he thought to tell that nobody can’t catch a star. But he didn’t. Instead, he took out a stone from his pocket.
“To tell you the truth, this stone is a star.”
“Is this stone?”
“But it is not shining.”
“Because it isn’t night. The star dose not shine in the morning.”
“Where did you get it?”
“It’s a secret.”
“I want a star too!”
“Oh…well, I’ll give it to you. All right? Piglet?”
“Of course!! Lucky I am!!”

In fact, the stone was painted with luminous paint.
Piglet was looking forward to the night coming. And Owl dose not come back just now.
