A Storm of LasersIn the year 9,064, Alpha Base was built on Sector B-6 on the planet Mars. It took them two entire years to build it.
"It looks grand!" shouted Phil over the commotion of people who came to look at the huge main building.
"It was worth it!!" Shouted back Captain Bill.
Meanwhile, on Xena, another base was being built. This was Omega Base, the enemy team of Alpha. So far, they had been working on it for 19 months.
Alpha was ready to test their first ever device, that would show them what was going on in space at that moment. As they started the test, they saw Neptune with its rings. Then Pluto with its 3 moons and finally Xena and its moon. They zoomed in on it.
"I see some activity going on. Zoom in a little more." Then they noticed the Omega. They had hated Omega for killing 2 of Alpha's best men. They couldn't let Omega notice them before they were ready.
Soon enough, they were getting all of their "PowerLazer 9000's" ready for charging. This sequence would take 28 days. Their plan was to put all of the charged lasers into the launcher and shoot it all at once. By the time the launcher had reached Xena, it would have travelled for over 250 years.
Omega, in the year 9298, had moved all of their belongings and taken off to Jupiter. There again, they started to build a base.
The next year, 9299, the launcher with all the lasers had reached Xena. It destroyed part of the planet and all of the base.
But there was 1 child, left behind, who had wandered to the other side of the planet. He was 2 years old but he had a lot of muscles on his legs and he was desperate to find his father.
Years passed and soon the boy was 21. He had named himself Garrett.
Alpha Base started to get old so the team moved on to Jupiter. When they arrived they started to walk around the surface to find new things. Soon they were stuck in the Big Red Spot.
The team from Omega was also curious about the huge planet. Omega went in groups of 10. One of the groups strayed too far from the rest and they too got stuck in the Big Red Spot. Soon, Alpha discovered Omega was also in the Spot. A battle had started.
Meanwhile, Garrett had made a space shuttle with remains of the old Omega Base. He flew to Jupiter, but the gravitational pull of Jupiter made the ship crash into the Big Red Spot. The ship caught fire. Garrett jumped out of the ship and ran as fast as he could to put distance between him and the ship. It blew. Garrett ran and ran until he noticed a person from Omega running towards him. It was his father, but they didn't know each other. The man told Garrett about the battle. They ran back to find only a few people from Omega left alive. Garrett took a flame thower and enraged, charged at Alpha. He burned everyone. Suddenly he noticed that they were cyborgs. There was nothing left but a bunch of metal pieces lying around. The fire had also burned all of the people of Omega except for Garrett and his father. The man, realizing the truth, but not knowing his son had anew name, said "Luke, I am your father..." and then he passed away.
