As well as travelling with and photographing Hakodate City Tram, I visited some places which are pictured in "LoveLive! Sunshine!!" anime. Hakodate City is also set in the anime, as well as Numazu City and Izunokuni City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and appeared as the city where the rivals of the main character, Chika Takami, Sarah Kazuno and Leah Kazuno sisters, and Chika and her school idol members were invited.
I brought a Chika rubber charm which I did when travelling to Numazu in April, 2019.
The first place I visited was a Japanese-style cafe Sabo Kikuizumi (in the first and second photographs), pictured as the house of Kazuno sisters. Originally, Kikuizumi is built in 1921 as the second house of alcohol warehouse and is refurbished to a cafe in 2005. The furniture, commodities, and irori fireplace (in the third photograph) are remaining.
The cafe mainly consists of tatami-matted rooms with zataku tables, but one room further than the entrance, which is refurbished to resemble Leah's room in the anime (in the fourth photograph), and glassed-in veranda are wooden-floored.
I chose a table in the veranda, where you can see the view of Hakodate Bay, and a dish of black rice seasoned with squid ink wrapped by egg omelette (in the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth photographs), which is one of the most popular dishes in the cafe.
The ninth photograph is Hakodate Kokusai Hotel, pictured as where Chika and her friends stayed in episodes set in Hakodate, from Tomoe Ohashi Bridge along Hakodate Bay. However, the present building is different from that in the anime because of the hotel's rebuilt in 2018 after the anime broadcast.
The tenth is Hakodate Arena, which is pictured as the stage of "LoveLive!" Hokkaido preliminary on which Kazuno sisters performed and to which Chika and her friends were invited. The real arena doesn't look like that in the anime.
The eleventh is Hachimanzaka in the night time from the bottom.
