Oh dear. It’s always a traumatic experience losing a tooth. And my troublesome one went this afternoon. The dentist did a good job of it I must say, but it was a bit of job. By the time I went to the dentist at the appointed time this afternoon much of the pain had atually subsided, but this particular tooth has been a problem off and on for well over ten years, and there was still a dull ache there. Precisely why this tooth has been such a problem nobody has been able to ascertain, it just flares up every couple of months, gives me a couple of days’ pain and then is OK until the next time. On careful examination of the x-ray the dentist could see some inflammation on one side and came to the conclusion that this was caused by a crack in the root or something like that, which was leaking and getting infected. On looking at the tooth once it had been removed he seemed to think that his judgement had been correct. Oh well, it’s gone now.
No photo of the tooth I am afraid, but here is an authentic Japanese curry:
potatoes from Jersey green beans from Kenya onions from Holland carrots from Norfolk (east England) bowl from China spoon from Sweden and of course sauce from Japan
Taste = good
