After yesterday’s clear but chilly day we had a cold night, but not too bad.
We are really enjoying accessing the TV through the internet on a decent sized set. The BBC content is absolutely wonderful. I am getting used to the navigation system now, but it is still far to slow. The strange thing is that after about ten years of not buying a weekly TV guide it is now becoming important to have one because with 24/7 TV there are some amazing things on at night that can be watched weeks later, if you can find them!!
Bill is spending some time tending a flock of chickens. He checks them for lice and ticks daily and apparently got a whole bucketful the other day, though frankly I find this hard to believe. There is a big day coming soon, he has to kill one and then pluck and gut it. I don’t mind the plucking and gutting but I was never very keen on the killing.
Here is another jug that we took to the recycle shop the other day. Where did these things come from? I wonder if Bill was throwing it away (itself something very rare) and we took it off his hands for some unknown reason.
