[The Mission of Women and the Yamato Spirit]
~The beauty of women lies in the beauty of their hearts and the elegance of their minds~
Although Buddhism and Christianity have been introduced to Japan, I do not believe that the Yamato spirit and the Japanese heart have been significantly altered.
However, the Second World War occurred, and as a result of the defeat, erroneous Western ideas were implanted in Japan from America and other foreign countries. This led the Japanese people to abandon their own beauty and even their pride as the Yamato race, becoming engrossed in the allure of erroneous ideas. In the midst of material and scientific civilization, we discarded the irreplaceable things we once possessed and plunged headlong into this path, ultimately bringing about the decline we see today.
To some extent, we had imagined that such a situation might arise in our world.
Although we had imagined it, when we see the moral decay of people, especially the moral decay of women and their lack of etiquette, I, Amaterasu, feel deeply saddened and, as a Japanese woman and a Yamato woman, I feel truly ashamed.
In the past, Yamato women, Japanese women, were filled with beauty, intelligence, and a humble faith that should have served as a model for women around the world, yet they always maintained a sense of pride.
They never competed with men, but instead prioritized the missions of men, the will of heaven, and the destiny of heaven. Like Otohime demonstrated with her life, they consistently displayed the beauty and spirit of Japanese women while supporting the missions of men, embodying the beauty of being a supporter.
However, that has been lost.
I see women wearing expensive items, brand-name bags, and expensive dresses, applying flashy makeup, and competing for beauty. But from my perspective, it seems like they are pursuing beauty in a hellish atmosphere, merely adorned on the surface.
The beauty of women lies in the beauty of their hearts and souls. It lies in the elegance of their hearts.
When women lose the humility and virtues toward men, nature, faith, and the gods that reside in their hearts, no matter how much they try to adorn the surface, beauty does not exist there.
It is something that emanates from within.
Beauty is something that emanates from within.
Even if a woman decorates only the surface in her youth, if she speaks a little, men can discern whether she is truly beautiful or has a beautiful heart.
However, I believe that men also bear some responsibility.
If men were to clearly state that they have no need for such women, even if they were to strive in that direction, I believe those women would realize that it is the wrong path.
However, there are still women in the world who seek out the unusual, prefer flashy things, and take great pleasure in being fawned over for their superficial beauty. I think they do such superficial things because they want to be recognized by men.
For women today to truly become beautiful, kindness of heart and the grace that comes from living authentically are indispensable. This is a humility that comes from rediscovering faith, faith in God.
Without that humility and etiquette, the beauty of women cannot exist.
