to get smaller pics

My friend tought me how to make pictures smaller.
I took pictures with a digital camera but they are too big to send my homepages. They are about 800kb.
I took some pictures with my cell phone but they are not clear.

I’ll write how to make picture smaller here.

Please click first homepage site.
You see Asia and click it.
Click hongkong even if you are in Japan.
I clicked second one.
And download it.Mine is Irfanview File.
After opening it ，you see a black screen on your computer.
Click file. Then click open on top of it.
Choose one picture which you want to change size.
Click image at top of it.
Click Resize/Resample .
Click set new size as persentage of original.
Please write number there.
Mine was 800kb so I wrote 20 there.
Click ok.
You can see a small one now.
Click file.
Click save as.
Please write name of that picture and choose a good file style for it.
jpg is good for homepages.
Click keep.
You can get a good sized picture!!!!

This ia a picture taken with a digital camera.
It is very different from one I took with a cell phone camera.
