lessons are gradually resumed at school after abrupt nationwide school closedown in February.
During prolonged school closedown, a proposal came up that our state should take this advantage to change the admission month from April to September , in order to follow international standard and guarantee the opportunity for education.
Later, there turned out to be a lot of disadvantages that upset not only education system but also whole nation.
While I was grappling with this composition, Premier concluded that it's impossible to introduce autumn admissions in this year -preparation period is too short to carry out this year, I suppose.
If there is a reason I approve for admissions in September, it's NOT to meet global standard for studying abroad -not so many students can afford to study abroad nowadays.
Under current system, entrance examinations of high schools and colleges take place in the middle of influenza season.
And once I thought : In our country, under current system, most of the companies -especially large companies settle accounts in March, and welcome new graduate employees in April.
If graduation is summer, settlements of accounts and preparing for welcoming new employees won't fall on , then busy period of general affairs section, personnel section, accounting section will be deconcentrated.
At the same time, there is no assuring that second outbreak of Novel Corona-virus infection is not coming in September unless effective vaccine and specific remedies are diffused.
If the problem due to long term school closedown this time is catching up with conventional curriculum , is it a matter of admission month?

In our country, students are supposed to study full time for six years in elementary school, three years in junior high school, three years in high school, four years in college -all academic-grade system and no gap year, and work from the age 22, which is the most common book rule.

But as I wrote, I felt that it looks as if current education system is making ready-made articles called human materials on conveyor belt.
Why such feeling? Delay in graduation due to failing in going on to college directly or repeating grade is evaluated negative evenly.
Especially holdovers in secondary education are almost automatically connected with miscreant or dropout
-While there are students who lag behind in graduation due to health reasons, financial reasons, long-term stay in abroad for parents' reasons, work through night schools or correspondence schools, and so on.
It's also a problem that if we repeat grade, yearly school expenses cost.
If adults care about having children learn properly what is required to become members of society, it's time our nation change such tendency and system, and reconsider the significance and purpose of education and school.
Just one thing : I've thought that secondary education schools should adopt credit-based system basically , which is unconventional now.
Because narrow and closed world called school can be hotbed of bully.
I'd like to add another reason today; dropout often draws attention as problem, but sometimes, studying in classroom can be uninteresting for superior students who learn quickly and diligent students who can study by themselves under long-term school closedown like this time,
Thus, it might be better if each student can study depending on proficiency .
-As for the first two or three years of primary education, it's difficult to adopt credit-based system, though.

At least, it would be important to have children obtain habit to study voluntary during this period.
At the same time, parents must refrain from providing children early education obsessively.
-And it seems all Education authorities care about is intellectual education , so is what I've mentioned today -what about physical, cultural and moral education?

These arguments about admission month were triggered by an online posting by a high-school student,
-Does it make sense, White-hat wannabes?
After all, the main victims of central Panjandrums' inaction are students and their family, and teachers.
Putting aside current situation and what's coming up during this year 2020... eventually, children, especially wise teenagers will accuse Panjandrums and Education authorities:
" You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words " ...What sentence follows?
-Familiar? I borrowed a speech by a teenager environmental activist at the U.N. climate summit -sorry.
Because I felt " empty words " is a word .
