☆『ひとり星の上に』は’６６年にジルベール・ベコー作曲し歌った名曲シャンソンです。
この曲は翌年’６７年にアメリカの女性シンガー、ヴィッキー・カーが『この恋に生きて / IT MUST BE HIM』のタイトルで英語で歌ったところ英米を中心に世界的ヒットとなり一躍有名曲になりました。
べコーのエネルギッシュな歌い方とヴィッキー・カーの情感あふれる歌い方とを比べて聴くのも興味深いものがあります。
