speech "a pilgrim"
Once upon a time there was a man who didn't smile at all.
He always complain about his life and other's behaviors.
"I'm not handsome. I'm not rich. That's why people hate me.
I'm not smart. So I can't do my work well."
He liked sleeping even in day the time.
So people called him "Gorosuke".
Gorosuke was very lonely because he had no friends to talk with.
One day he met a priest when he walk saying something.
The priest was a pilgrim who visited temples in Shikoku.
the priest asked Gorosuke.
"What are you speaking?"
Gorosuke answered.
I said "I don't like this windy day. I feel cold."
The priest smiled in his thin clothes.
Gorosuke said"I'm poor. I can't get what I want."
The priest smiled showing his small bag in which he had all he needed.
Gorosuke couldn't understand why the priest smiled.
So he desided to follow the priest.
"Can I follow you?" Gorosuke asked.
"Sure!!"the priest answered.
It was too hard for Gorosuke to walk with the priest as he was lazy at home.
Suddenly It began to rain.
Gorosuke said "I can't walk in the rain. I don't have an umbrella."
The priest walked as if he didn't care about raining.
They met a girl standing on a road.
She said "Please come to my house to take a rest."
They visited her house.
They were sarved hot tea by her mother.
Gorosuke was very glad to have hot tea.
He hadn't met such kind woman before.
Mother gave them big rice balls for dinner.
Gonsuke ate it and thought it was very delicious after walking a lot.
After leaving her house they walked in the wood.
It was so scarly for him to walk in the wood hearing voice of wolves at night .
He shouted
"I can't walk any more. I'm too tired to walk."
The priest walked and walked into the wood and stopped to collect firewood.
Gorosuke didn't want to stay there.
But he didn't want to walk alone,either.
While he was collecting firewood,he said to himself.
"Why do I have to do hard work here?"
But he felt really nice when the priest fire the firewood.
The fire made both his body and heart warm.
He forgot all bad things he experienced after talking with the priest in front of the fire.
He could sleep well even he knew there were some wolves around him.
When he woke up,he found the priest wasn't with him.
He said "Thank you."to the priest in his mind.
He wasn't religious.
But he thought he met God pretending a pilgrim to tell him how to live.
He could smile to the sun and all things around him.
