この日は、同僚の送別会で初めて夜に利用してみた。 “Mamma Mia” inside the Shimbashi Palaceside Building is a popular restaurant where long lines at lunchtime are almost guaranteed. This time, I visited it for the first time in the evening—for a farewell party for a colleague.
乾杯の泡は、2800円のスプマンテをチョイス。特に際立ってよいわけではないが、十分値段に見合う味。 For the toast, we chose a ¥2,800 spumante. It wasn’t anything exceptional, but the taste was more than fair for the price.
ワインは赤白とも店のおすすめの安価なものを注文。 For both red and white wine, we went with the restaurant’s recommended budget selections.
Besides pasta, we ordered various dishes like tripe, marinated items, tagliata, and gratin. All were surprisingly affordable. We ate and drank heartily, barely able to finish everything, yet the bill was just a bit over 4,000 yen. It really made me appreciate why this place is so popular. If I had to mention one thing, the seasoning overall was a bit on the salty side. However, it paired well with the wine and perhaps was just right for this season.
