残念だった店（その３）〜夏のリトルマーメイドはずっとなのかこの室温なのか‥ Dissapointing lunch 3 ～Little mermaid in Jinbocho

しかし、最近は入るのを躊躇している。
というのも、この店、異常なまでにエアコンを効かせるのである。生モノっぽいサンドイッチなどを扱っているということもあるのかもしれないが、それを差し引いても店内が寒すぎる。
最初は、たまたま私が訪れた日だけだったのかと思ったが、その後何回訪れてもやはりギンギンにエアコンを効かせている。店内温度を下げて、長居させないようにしているのでないかと疑いたくなるほどだ。せめてもの対抗策として、前回はわざわざウインドブレーカーを持参したのが、それでもやはり寒くて早々に退散する羽目になった。
I like the bread from Little Mermaid (Andersen), located along Suzuran Street in Jinbocho. The eat-in area is quite comfortable, so when I want to take it easy during lunch, I often choose to eat there in spite of slightly high prices (it easily goes over 1,000 yen if you also order a cup of coffee)
Lately, however, I’ve been hesitant to go in.
The reason is that they crank the air conditioning up to an extreme level. It might have something to do with the fact that they serve fresh items like sandwiches, but even considering that, the shop is just way too cold.
At first, I thought it was just a one-time thing, but no matter how many times I’ve visited since, the A/C has always been blasting. It’s enough to make me wonder if they deliberately lower the temperature to discourage customers from lingering.
As a last resort, I even brought a windbreaker with me on my last visit—but even that didn’t help much, and I ended up leaving earlier than planned because it was just too cold.
