2VOICE 2VOICE was founded in 2016 by Junko Hara and Yosuke Kano, a married duo who had supported Japan’s premier vocal group Circus for more than 30 years. After “graduating” from the group on its 35th anniversary, they launched their own project together. Their first album, 120-sai no Love Song (Love Song at 120 Years Old), released in September 2016, has remained a long seller thanks to its jazzy self-covers of Circus hits and carefully recorded original songs written together. Especially notable is the love song YOU ~ 120-sai no Love Song ~, written when both turned 60. It was widely featured on radio and TV, and chosen as the ending theme of the 2018 film Omiokuri (dir. Hidehiro Ito, starring Reiko Takashima and Ayane), resonating deeply with audiences. In October 2018, they released their second album Winter Love Song, centered on Christmas numbers along with new originals—a seasonal greeting album that allows adults to indulge in romance, nighttime moods, and winter nostalgia. In 2021, when both turned 65, they released 130-sai no Love Song with the theme How Old Is Your Soul?, conveying the message that youth continues as long as the heart keeps moving forward. Alongside, they released 120 cover tracks of Western classics (from their radio program Music Serenade) as well as the acclaimed Japanese cover series REBORN. Looking ahead to 2026, they will celebrate 140-sai no Love Song under the theme TIME—embracing the era they have lived through, the moments they have cherished, and the future they will share with the next generations. Through it all, 2VOICE continues to deliver irreplaceable musical gifts to the hearts of listeners.
