PrairieCare Edina

PrairieCare established a presence in Edina in 2007, originally in Southdale Medical Building.  This site has gone through a series of expansions and then moved to the Physicians Building next to Southdale Fairview Hospital in 2012.  PrairieCare Edina is over 24,000 square feet, providing all levels of care with the exception of inpatient services (currently offered in Maple Grove).
Each year, PrairieCare Edina has been able to offer services to more than 600 youth in PHP, 200 adults in IOP and thousands of all ages in the outpatient clinics.


The following services are provided:

  • Free Needs Assessments
  • Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for children and Adolescents
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults
  • Behavior Development Program (BDP) for children
  • Healthy Emotions Program (HEP) for adolescents
  • Psychiatry
  • Medication management
  • Individual therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Psychological evaluation
  • My People Support Group
