Hi everyone! Before we get stared with all the official stuff, I just want to remind you that SWC relies on an honour system. This forum is open to those apart of the Lyric leadership team (or if you've been specifically given the link) this coming session of SWC and while you are more than welcome to observe, in order to maintain the suprise element of our cabin storyline, we would greatly appreciate it if you would close this forum

Intro Questionnaire
Hiii! So there's a lot for us to cover so there's just a few (more like a lot-) of questions that we'd like to just go over to make sure that we're all on the same page. They've been grouped off into categories/tasks that we need to complete so we know where to get started <3
General GTKY's
1. Introduce yourself! (maybe even get two truths and a lie going)
2. What are you most looking forward to this session?
3. Do you have any specific ideas you'd like to implement to Lyric?
4. Anything exciting that's happening/going to happen in your life?
5. What's one goal you have this session?
Platform Usage
1. Are you good with using a shared Canva (only usernames will be shared anyways so we should be good <3)
2. Are you comfortable using an anoynmous google sheet to add words
Cabin Aesthetics
pfps - we should have pfp's!
1. I'm thinking we can give them out at the start to build cabin spirit - what do we think?
2. Should the pfp's be an icon creator or would someone like to draw/design them individually?
3. What would we like the pfp's to be (just initial ideas - we can confirm this based on the storyline)
banners + forum signatures + matching aesthetic
Nothing much to say here but I think we should have these! I also think it'd be really cool if campers could unlock stuff to add to their pfp's or banners - maybe as they go through quests or complete their own goals?
cabin colors
1. I was thinking of kind of using the KPDH color scheme of what you see in typical sci-fi cabins (black, purple, pink, cyan, etc.) but I'd love to explore this more + hear what suggestions you two have
Cabin Set-Up
1. Any cabin relationships that you're interested in having? (we can have a MAX of 3 allies and 3 neutrals)
2. Would you like three different WCGs or one shared space to add words?
3. Thoughts on having changing thumbs as the storyline progresses ✨
4. Do we want a mascot ;D
5. Any symbol ideas?
6. Would we like to have currency? (if so - any symbol ideas for this)
7. Are there any locations we were thinking of using for the cabin/projects (eg: the WCG could be “the roof” with a picture of Derpy knocking a flower pot or smth)
That's about out it for now! Sorry for the overwhelming number of questions ahah XD
But once we get this sorted out we can move on to all the fun planning and chaos!!!

Hi there! I'm Alana (she/her) and I reside in the (b)EST timezone! Some of my hobbies include dancing, coding, as well as scrapbooking. I'm an avid boba lover and I love spending time with my friends + learning new skills (I've recently been trying to learn a few card magic tricks!!)
My two truths and a lie!
1. My favourite subject is math.
2. I have a lovely dog who I absolutely adore <3
3. I love mango ice cream!
2. What are you most looking forward to this session?
Probably just the cabin itself! The storyline actually has so much potential and I'm super excited to bring it to life <3
OOH ANOTHER THING- having control over the main cabin desc MWAHAHA (guys trust I'll move us to first :zany: /j)

hiii i think you both know me pretty well but im rockie (she/her) and i love watching movies, hanging out with my friends, baking, cooking, reading and writing!!! i also loveeee listening to music and my goal this year is to get 35k minutes on spotify hehe

i have a writing goal and a leading goal: my writing goal is to write the outline of a movie i've been thinking about recently, and my leading goal is to really be connected to the campers (like alana haha)

1. hey guys!! i'm lora (she/her) and i love how rockie assumed her co-leader would know her without knowing who they are HELP but yes i do know you :> we've all talked before so i'm pretty sure you know me, but i love computers, meeting new people, singing and playing the guitar!! also i'm going on a school trip in a few hours (my first ever) to a place with beaches and i'm so excitedd. unfortunately that means i won't be able to be online for around 3 days but </3 i promise i will catch up!
two truths and a lie
1) my great-grandfather was murdered in his bed and the culprit got away with it
2) i liked the exact same guy throughout all three years of middle school
3) i almost drowned once when i was five but my sister saved me
2. What are you most looking forward to this session?

i think meeting the new campers and getting to know them, as well as starting the storyline will be really exciting :0 i love seeing campers work on the storyline and try to figure things out, it makes me feel so happy
3. Do you have any specific ideas you'd like to implement to Lyric?
as of now, no? i really loved the idea about the final boss in week 3 though- i think after more friendly and calm events, something like that can make it more exciting and increase the anticipation. i'll come up with ideas and let you guys know in this week, though!
4. Anything exciting that's happening/going to happen in your life?
THE TRIP!! i'm going with some of my best friends in around five hours at 2 am. it's a school trip and most of my friends will be there, and we're going to go to the beach, swim, go on a cruise, kayaking AND EAT FOOD!! i'm so excited ajfbsjfg
5. What's one goal you have this session?
one goal i have this session is to do something with my novel! figure it out, because i seriously have no idea what's going on with that one 50 paged google doc in my drafts. i want to either continue it or start a good, well-planned novel, and i think swc is a great time to figure that out. also, i want to have a blast and an absolute incredible session!

DEFINITELY i love pfps and they're always the best! i think they're the most liked out of all cabin merch.
2. Should the pfp's be an icon creator or would someone like to draw/design them individually?
whenever i've seen icon creators they've always taken a lot of time, so depending on how much time we have and what we need to focus our efforts on, i'd say we can choose! designing them individually allows for a little more customization and takes less time then coding a whole icon creator in my opinion, but anything works :0

hmm that's a good question :0 right now, i can only think of their personas/avatars but i'll get back to you if i think of something.

i agree with everything here! although it should probably require a few tasks to be fullfilled before these get unlocked, and also yess that's such a cool idea with the pfps :0 setting a tracking system with three reasonable goals to be finished by the end of the session would help utilize that so we can unlock stuff and give things if they finish a goal!

Yeah! I think drawing them might be easier than actually setting up and icon creator with all of those options to be honest.
With that in mind, would anybody be interested in taking charge on drawing?
We could either do people or like give everybody specific items from the movie (so people can essentially request different things from the movie such as derpy knocking over the flower pot, zoey's ramen, saja boys wand, etc. and then they can choose a certain background, extra graphics, etc.)

lora's atmosphere - Friendly and comfortable, where a healthy competitive spirit is encouraged. Campers feel at home while having fun and cooperating to work on the storyline.

i agree that custom ones would be easier—i would also like to say that we can also design the pfps instead of drawing them! like what i did for fantasy july 24—in my experience that was actually quite easy and simple but im not sure if that's the vibe we're going for

Hmm we should probs find a cabin to be siblings with hehe - that would honestly be super fun!
I think a duo with Fantasy would be nice! I know Fairy Tales, Adventure, and Illu-Fi have a trio going on so we should probs ask asap XD
Also! I was wondering if we could be enemies with Magreal >
Aside from that, I don't have much of a preference! Being enemies with Cyberpunk or Fairy Tales would also be nice but I don't mind to much hehe

Mascot
OMG YES DERPY WOULD BE SUPER FUN!!
and we could have like mini activities for the campers to do - I really liked what Birdi did with Real-Fi (TCTWNW) where the campers were able to decide on the mascot's official name, interests, hobbies, etc.
Something else that I think would be really cool is a parody writing activity (based on a KPDH song) – this would probs fit perfectly for our little PJ/karoke night idea <3 Just putting this out here for now hehe
Word Count Studios
Ooh ok! I'm fine with both - I've been doing one giant studio these past few sessions just because some studios will be more active than others which kind of makes it hard at times. Also I feel like it sometimes does tend to separate the cabin a bit more?
Idk- we could also use this as a way to have some sort of inter-competition between the three studios? I'm good with either! If we choose to do one though, we could just rotate as studio manager (but all of us can still update words on the sheet itself <3)

Ok looking at it now, I actually really like the moons - also because of the little pun, yk? ;D
I was looking for some new options and came across these: ⏾, ☾, we could maybe combine the blank moon with the other moon we made since this is also an option: ☽☾ – I don't think we allow double symbols though so we'd probs have to choose either or.

I know Lora's on a trip rn but after she comes back we should probably distribute tasks in terms of like pfps, forum signatures, banners, storyline desc. to kind of get our cabin ready for camper sign-ups.
Aside from that, we're right on schedule!

I added another one kind of combining the two! We can take the next few days to decide on one since the MBC only really need it by the first week of Feb.
In the meantime, do we want to maybe decide the whole WCG situation and go from there?

Hiii just a ping on all of this! Also, if we could maybe post our schedules for the week every Sunday (during Feb) or smth that'd be great - it'll help us know what days we can really get the bulk of planning done + what days we might want to focus on individually assigned tasks
I'll start us off!
Alana's Schedule
Sunday - free! (studying chem)
Monday - free! (studying chem)
Tuesday - chem exam! (and I have work <3)
Wednesday - free! (my friend's and are I planning to spend the day out + I have classes in the evening)

I only have to go to school on Tuesday and Thursday and that's only for 2 hrs so I should have quite a bit of time this week! I am, however, prepping for a business conference I have next week so it'll be a mix of this, that, and prepping for sem 2 :sparkles:
