1. Advertise! Advertising your shop will make a big difference in the end. You can advertise in many ways such as - Making your signature a representation of your shop (having a link will help), also get your shop listed in The Shop Directory and get in touch with The Shop Federation.
2. Partnering! Partnering your shop will also advertise your shop and you will get more shop experience. All you have to do is ask a shop owner if they would partner with your shop then go over terms with them.
3. Friends! Having friends in your shop will not only support you and your shops growth but they are a good starting point for your show to grow from.
4. Activity! If you own a small or new shop then you will need to be very active so that any comments you get you can respond to so that your shop can get a reputation of having a fast respond time which is great for your shop.
5. Hope! Always have hope because if you don't get any responses on the first couple of days DO NOT be discouraged. - Almost all shops get no acknowledgement.

Connections with experienced scratchers or experienced shop owners will help you because they will most likely have connections too who can help you with advertisements and partnering.

In your shop you should probably organize all of your things because this will make your shop look much better and attract more potential customers and member applicants. You can make your shop organized by putting lines to close off sections, or having a quote block around different sections, you can press enter one or two times so that there are breaks between each section, you can center things in your shop, and lastly you can have titles for each section and bold or big them as I do with each section. You can see this in action if you look around this page because all of the examples I told you are here on this page. - ONLY use these when it is appropriate because over use them and it will not have as great of an affect.

Always use proper grammar! Always using proper grammar will make your shop much more professional than any shop without proper grammar

You will want to be able to place the different sections of your shop in the right place to the easy of potential customers.

Emphasis can play a very big role in the growth and popularity of your shop. If you have VERY IMPORTANT NEWS then you can bold it or make it big . This will draw the viewers eyes to this part of your shop and will get them to read what you have wrote and this will most likely get them to read the rest of what you have written. You can do this by making something bold/big/italicized/or underlined and in special cases you can make it small but I do not suggest using the strike out because this will make it harder to read and will seem and look as unimportant.

Your shop should have a name that obviously imply's that this is a shop you can do this be simply putting the word shop in your shops name. Another thing that you can do to attract viewers is to put a cool symbol or special mark in your name. You probably have seen this amongst many shops and it is very helpful because it is sort of like the blinking light in your shops name. One last thing that is helpful in a shops name is to put what you offer. (ex. Spencealot's Shop Of Everything /Johns Shop of Art / or Writing Needs)

When you make your shop, I suggest that you comment (RESERVED) about 5 times so that you have open spaces to have *extended sections (like more in depth explanations). This may not seem like something you need to do, but as your shop grows you will realize that these spaces will actually help a lot!

Near the beginning of your shop you will want to state what kind of things that your shop offers. This will help the shoppers not have to work hard just so they can look for what they can get from you. This can be done by using the template below as an example.

3. Coding - Our scriptwriters will make the scripts needed for your games requirements

- you can also put more but this is only an example.

If you do not plan to hire other shop workers then you can skip this step, but without other members you will not get much done and your shop will be VERY limited. If you do plan to hire or already have then you should have a section for your staff members to be shown and given credit for their participating in your shop. - Note that this will also help you keep track of your members. Examples of how to do this are below.
