Disable constructive critism
Constructive critism is this:
In this case, yy, zz, and ww, the author of the last quote, are all criticizing xx. This makes xx feel bad.
Let's then assume yy posts 5 messages about xx and then invites vv, aa, bb, and cc to criticize xx, and vv invites dd, ee, and ff.
Xx gets very sad and closes the topic, xx, yy, zz, ww, vv, aa, bb, cc, dd, ee, ff, the 11 people, aren't happy.
My mom forbids it in my house.
So why can't we disable it in scratch?

So you're saying to only let people post if they support, but if they try to post a reason why something is a bad idea, they're disallowed from doing that.

The whole point of comments and the discussion forums is constructive criticism, whether it's the project or the suggestion. Constructive critisism is good because it provides specific feedback. Also, yy, zz, and ww are not actually critizing xx, they're giving feedback on what xx said. xx can use what yy, zz, and ww said to improve upon the thing he said. There's really no reason xx should be feeling bad.
Also, is this about the ultra-love thing?

Furthermore, constructive critism isn't supposed to make people feel bad. Unconstructive critism would be saying something like “Ur suggestion suks”.

You can't tell people to not support your suggestions, that's not how it works…
In this case, in the examples you provided, yy, zz, and ww are not doing constructive criticism. In fact, they're simply saying no support, which is unconstructive criticism. In reality, constructive criticism is much better than that.

what? have opinions on the suggestion?
you can't post a suggestion and think that there won't be someone who is going to dislike it.

Finally, how and why would the Scratch Team disable constructive criticism? There really is no reason to. I think you're the only one who's being offended by good feedback.

All of those were examples of unconstructive criticism.
Here is a response; A example of constructive criticism.
So no support because the CGs say that constructive criticism is important.
PersonA: I suggest we add a search bar to the website at the bottom of the website.

PersonB: Why not add it to the top of site. So that way it is easy to find.

Constructive Criticism is quite a big thing in comments and forum posts - it is good to say some things that could be improved - for the educational side for projects and constructive side for forums. I’m sorry but criticism will happen - but you should take it the right way and try to improve.
That being said - there is a right way of writing constructive criticism. Please report any posts which you feel are very mean

If you do not want other users to criticize your suggestion, just don't post it. Criticism is a key necessity for people to help improve your suggestions.

No support woah this feels very ironic
If we can't receive constructive criticism, how can we know if something we're doing is for the better or for the worse? We need advice, there's flaws everywhere, and that's how we improve on life everyday. We can't just force everyone on agreeing a suggestion. That's just wrong.

I'm not trying to dogpile here, but constructive criticism is welcome on this site, and encouraged on the Suggestions forum. People are allowed to voice their opinions on suggestions (good or bad), as long as they follow the site's rules while doing so.
Constructive criticism can also help improve suggestions or bring into light new ideas that weren't thought of before.
As for having so many people “vote” against your suggestion, it's okay. It doesn't say anything about your character. We understood what you were coming from when you thought of this suggestion, but this suggestion just isn't realistic. Don't stop here, though; feel free to offer your opinions on other suggestions on the forums.

Your definition of “constructive criticism” is strange to me. Posts like the examples given are unconstructive and are not allowed. However, if you see those posts from 2014 or so, don't get on your high horse or anything. By the way, an example of constructive criticism is
