Space Adventures
Chapter 1
Jackson woke up in his dorm, when he hear a loud banging behind his wall. He scrambled frantically out of his dorm room and sprinted down the hallway to his friend, Shawn. He knocked frantically on his door and screamed “, Wake up Shawn!” A blond boy, who looked to be 13, opened the door. “What is it Jackson,” he mumbled.
Jackson tried to get the words out but he was too out of breath. “There was a banging behind my wall,” he managed to say.
“Are you sure it wasn’t just the trash truck again?”
“I AM SURE,” Jackson practically screamed.
Shawn unwillingly agreed to check out what the banging was. They walked over to Jackson’s dorm and went in. There was no banging or anything. “I’m sure there was a noise,” Jackson said in a sad and frightened voice. Shawn rolled his eyes and walked out of his dorm and then the whole school shook. “What was that,” Shawn thought. “Maybe Jackson wasn’t imagining things.” Jackson ran out of his room and yelled at Shawn, “I told you I was right!” Then all the glass in the school broke! Both the boys stared through the empty hole that used to be a window and saw a huge spaceship looking structure. Right when they were going to run away screaming they saw someone walk out of the spaceship. She looked like an alien mixed with a human. Her head and hands were green she had a long white tunic on. The alien creature actually spoke english! “Are you Shawn and Jackson,” she asked. Shawn and Jackson’s eyes opened wide. “Yes, yes we are,” they both said meekly.
“Well me and my colleagues would like you to come to our space school to learn how to fly and battle for our space army,” they lady said.
“You bet i will,” Jackson exclaimed excitedly.
“Sure, but may i ask how long we will be there,” Shawn asked.
“It is a life commitment, Shawn,” she said sadly
“Then in that case ill do it,” Shawn exclaimed while pumping his fist.

Chapter 2
The Three entered the ship and the hatch door closed behind them. They sat down in three chairs in the front of the ship. Right before they took off Jackson asked, “So, what was the banging behind my dorm? Also, what’s your name?”
The alien lady answered, “My name is Ramona,” then she smirked and said, “The banging was just the janitor getting stuck behind the dumpster!”
The whole group laughed out loud at what Jackson had gotten so scared about. Ramona pulled a lever on the control panel and then the whole ship started to shake. “What’s happening,” Jackson nervously asked.
Ramona comfortingly said, “It’s just the thrusters on the ship.”
Shawn mockingly exclaimed, “Scaredy cat, scared cat!”
Jackson rolled his eyes and sighed. The ship lifted into the air and all in the blink of an eye they were in space. The stars that surrounded them were glimmering with wonder. It was so overwhelming for Jackson and Shawn. You could see earth from a different perspective, the perspective that Ramona always saw it from. Earth just looked like a little marble from there. The inside of the ship had blue velvet seats, a silver roof, sleek blue floors, and was shaped like a giant frisbee. Ramona announced that they were about to leave the Milky Way galaxy. They approached a light blue planet that she called planet Lork.
When the ship I landed they could see a futuristic looking town. Everything was neon and extraordinarily shinny. Everyone looked like a the type of alien that Ramona was.

Chapter 3
They got out of the ship and just stood there in amazement of the city. Finally, they started walking toward a huge sky scrapper. On the side it read “Training.” Jackson, Shawn, and Ramona went through the door, which slid open. Once they got in they could see other kids their age eating in the cafeteria. The three went through the cafeteria to the training grounds. It was empty because it wasn’t training time yet. There were plastic staffs lined up against the wall, each one had a name on it. Suddenly, at least a hundred kids came flooding in. They all lined up next to their assigned staffs. Ramona whispered to Jackson and Shawn, “Go line up with the other kids. I already got you staffs.”
“Okay,” they both echoed. Once everyone was lined up a man walked out of a door at the end of the training grounds. He stood with his hands clasped behind his back pacing back and forth. “Today you are learning how to use strategy while fighting,” he said. He commanded them to line up. Each person had a sparing parter already so Jackson and Shawn paired up. “Alright, lets begin,” the man said with a grin. Everyone started to spar and while they were sparing the man said, “Try to figure out a way to out smart your opponent to get them to attack themselves.” Jackson knew just what to do. When Shawn tried to swing his staff down at him he jumped away and then flipped Shawn onto his back. The instructor was watching them and was very impressed. “You really know what you’re doing there Jackson.”
“It’s simple physics sir,” Jackson stated with a smirk. Shawn got up quietly and swept his staff at Jackson’s feet. Jackson fell straight on his back. “Very impressive Shawn,” the instructor complimented.
Shawn mockingly copied Jackson and said, “why thank you sir, its just simple physics.” Jackson, Shawn, and the instructor burst out laughing.
