The Secret Society: An action-fantasy animated series

The Secret Society (TSS) is an action-fantasy movie series animated in Scratch Vector by @JoyfulBallet . In this forum, you can ask questions about TSS, ask to be notified of Episode 3's release, keep an eye on general updates, and/or easily access important TSS links.

Summary

Ashley McKenna Holts has always been a helper—a follower. Sure, she has decent grades, tutors a younger friend in reading, and is a bit less idiotic than most kids her age. But she's more content under the radar than in the spotlight. She rarely leaves her comfort zone of friends, family, and all she's been taught since birth. Facts so simple and universal she's never even thought to question them.

Then a series of events leads to a shattering revelation about who she is, whom she can trust, and what her future holds. All of Ashley's beliefs about herself and her universe are tested or overturned. She sets off with her new friends into a world she doesn't fully understand, armed with just her newfound qualifications and the determination she sometimes struggles to muster. Forced to adapt to so much in so little time, the once-standard thirteen-year-old must coax an ember of courage from the ashes of her former life. One to help her and her allies face an enemy force, its conniving leader, and their own troubled fears.

Will hope and healing prevail? Or have the waves extinguished so much of the flame of peace—that its resurrection is beyond possibility?

If you'd like to be notified (likely on your profile) of its release, please tell us by replying to this post. Disclaimer : in the event of an extreme increase in signups (there is a chance of this due to Episode 2's curation on 6/30/2022), there is a slight possibility we MAY NOT get to every single notification. In that case, notification will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and active users will be prioritized.

Hello People of TSS, sorry to bother you because I know that you're working on TSS , I would like to join your group, as you see I'm making a series called -Unknown-, but don't how to do the show. I could be animator if you want and other people parts that have not been in TSS, I wish to join the group and learn the ways of how to be good animater, good voice actor and good director.

Hi -BenAnimations-: unfortunately, we aren't currently accepting animators because we want to keep the style consistent throughout the series. If you want to voice act, you can audition here: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/29563772 . We recommend auditioning for Mr. Kemero, Flick Anderson, and/or the Headmaster (Mr. Kemero's voice actor is probably inactive, so we'll likely need a backup). If you'd like to learn a bit more about JoyfulBallet (TSS's animator)'s animation process, you can read this comment . Hope this helps!

Update : our first TSS Fanart Contest is open! All instructions are in the project, and feel free to ask questions there. The due date is July 27, which is hopefully plenty of time.
