Hi guys!

This is the official audio thread for Kokoro Beats, a Project Sekai styled rhythm game! This is where the composers will get their assignments, voice actors and singers can get their lines, and where we can discuss further about the audio in the game! I'm the sub-manager and the Music Manager of Kokoro Beats, nice to see you!

FIRST TASK GUYS

Deadline : 6/1/2024
Who is needed : All composers
Details : At the end of every in-game day, there will be a short screen recapping on all the gains you've made. This should be accompanied by a scene where MC is at their bed/dorm/wherever, sitting near a music box, that was given to them. We need a song for this! Make a song with ONLY a music box, nothing else. It needs to sound dreamy, sleepy, almost like a lullaby. Send your submissions in this forum topic! So far, we only have two submissions (both by me), and they are… Not good.

aye aye captain. also. i think u should assign some of the songs that ive made for the game to some stuff. like “Kokoro Chill (wip name) is gonna be the *insert something in the game* theme” i was thinking for kokoro chill in particular it could be the music that plays at night time?

Also, for the idle/pause/cutscene music
Idle music should just be an EQ filter transition fade of the original music when the character stays in place for a while
Pause music could be that same effect, original music, or none at all (silence is good sometimes)
Cutscene music is on a case-to-case basis.

Makes sense, but i dont think scratch has that ability. even doing things like faders into a different song is usually hairy. good idea and concept, not the best platform unfortunately.
