-HunnyBun-'s Speedpaints!
Hello! For those who would like to see more of my creative process or gain inspiration from the ideas I use in my work, here are my speedpaints!
I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide the title of the speed painting you are reviewing or criticizing, as it would make it much easier for me to identify which piece you are referring to.
Warning: These gifs may contain minor flashing images!
Please let me know if there is a problem with any of my speed paintings, and I will remove them right away!
My gif-making process:
While making my art in Firealpaca, I use its built-in recording system, which records every change I make to my art as 1 frame. After stopping this recording, it's saved as a gif. (Depending on how long I record, I can get either 1 giant gif or multiple tiny ones, but it's usually a mixture.).
Using the website VEED, I upload a gif and cut it into 1 minute or 30 second clips (no matter what, it has to be no more than 5 MB, which is cubeuploads maximum file size). I then repeat this for however many firealpaca gifs I have.
Unfortunately, VEED seems to only export files into an MP4 format, so I take these MP4 files and upload them to Ezgif. From here, I use their “video to gif” feature and transform all the MP4's back into gifs.
Finally, I upload these new gifs to cubeupload, send the cubeupload links to Scratch, and I'm done!
I hope this is helpful!

Title: Nigiri Meal
Finished On: April 24, 2024
While watching Aviencloud (I can't remember which video), the picture used was an artist's 3D render of sashimi. That picture is what inspired me to make a nigiri-based dish.
The first copy I'd made was too “pixelated,” so these speedpaints are from my resizing of the original image, which is why I already have a color palette ready.
Compared to the real-world dish, the scaling for the nigiri is much bigger than usual, but I don't mind it.
What do you guys think?

Title: Chips
Finished On: May 1, 2024
This was a random drawing I made. I remember being disappointed that I couldn't quite grasp the chip texture I wanted, but that's ok!
(The second GIF is of a lower quality than the first GIF because I optimized it further during the Ezgif step.)

I try to make speedpaints BUT THE APP I USE GOES FASTER THEN I EXPECTEDThat's odd! Didn't you say you used Ibis X? I've never used that program, but if it has a built in recording feature like Firealpaca maybe you could use the gif creation websites I use in order to slow down the fps and creation the illusion of a “slower” video? I'd love to see your speedpaints! :3
