First Lego League Team Channel and Project
Hello There!
My name is Charlotte, and I am the captain of the First Lego League team #10798, the Brick Busters.
First Lego League is a competition for students aged 9-14 (In countries outside the US, age ranges by vary). Teams worldwide compete in friendly competition. There are 3 different things that FLL Teams are scored on:
The Lego Robot Game is where teams build a robot out of Lego parts, as well as attachments that are powered by motors. The attachments are coded
with block coding (identical to Scratch coding) to operate with the goal of completing different tasks on the year's board. This year's theme is Unearthed, focusing on archaeology.
The innovation project is a project that all teams must complete for judging. The innovation project must have teams innovate a solution for a problem or lack of support somewhere in the year's theme (this year's theme would make innovation projects focused on archaeology). Our innovation project for this season is an app/website called Digscord. It's purpose is to have a place for archaeologists to communicate and share their findings with other archaeologists, and archaeology enthusiasts/visitors of the website to explore information available to them, try archaeology trivia, and volunteer for archaeology opportunities.
Core values is another thing that teams are judged on at FLL competitions. They are judged by each team's communication, cooperation, and just how well they work together/with others in general.

Digscord (work-in-progress, many features may not be available atm): https://digscord-drss.netlify.app/
Thank you so much!
