Hey hi! I'm @CEDARKIT_THE_INSANE aka Cedar! I'm a cat enthusiast and writer, and I love the arts! I'm quite passionate about drawing and such, and I enjoy both watching and preforming in theatre! I can't say my voice is the best but… oh well!
I have two pets, a dog and a cat, and I love both /so/ much. they're my children <33
I'm alright at crochet, however my carpal tunnel does act up sometimes and prevents me from working on my projects. I'm a HUGE bookworm, with a preference of fantasy and fiction in general. While I love reading, it's quite possible I love writing even more, hence roleplaying! There's something spectacular about being able to write a whole entire character and have them interact with others <33

Well… I've been roleplaying for almost 4 years now, holy smokes! Time flies, haha. I've had several Generations roleplay characters, The Four Clans characters, and two TSS characters, of which I'll list below!
Trouttrot- Gens - My very first roleplay character! He died of old age after a fulfilling life, as a parent of eleven (11!!) kits, lol. I wouldn't change a thing.
Filledpaw - Gens - She was one of my most interesting characters. Unfortunately, I had to oof her because of real-life issues, of which I did not see coming. I won't share why (just because it's a bit sensitive, nothing bad!) on here, but something like that is very, very likely never to happen again.
Charcharisma - Gens - Ari! Charchar died of old age as well, after a life of grandeur. Seriously, she was one of my funniest characters, and it was quite rewarding, roleplaying with her.
Glistenpaw - Gens - Aww, Glis. She passed as a result of failing to defeat in-rp challenges, which in the end, would lead to her clan's demise. I'm quite sad about her undue death, she was quite young and had so much life to live.
Katniss - Gens - My current Generations cat, Katniss is (whoaa) based off of Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games! She lives as a loner, where nothing could possibly get to her, haha. But I'm quite active with her and have been for quite a while! I won't be deleting her, like, ever; I put my heart and soul into her <33
Illusionspark - TFC - Illusion was my very first TFC cat, and she's still around, chilling in Windclan with her partner and children! I'm more active with my other characters; Illy just feels like a comfortable pair of shoes I can step right back in to, if you will.
Rosecrook - TFC - Rosie is currently my main focus in TFC, since her litter will be coming out soon! She's so happy and cheery hehe, I just love her <3
Skinksnarl- TFC - Skink was the kitty I won pretty much exactly a year ago, from the Pride Event litter! He's kind of my pride and joy lol, and while he'd be absolutely miserable to be around, he's definitely one of my favorite characters I've had the chance to roleplay as <33
Iolitewing - TSS - Io! Io was my very first TSS kitty, and I had her for quite some time! She was created around the time of Trouttrot, so I was quite inexperienced with this whole roleplaying this, however I had a great time with her! She was deleted around 80 moons, when I was satisfied she'd lived her life to the greatest extent!
Dyadspot- TSS - Dyad was the second kit I've ever applied for, and my third roleplay character. She was such a fabulous character, and I absolutly despise the fact that I had to delete her as a young warrior (same reason and time as Filledpaw).
As for longevity, I fully expect Opalinekit to reach 80+ moons. I always do my very best to have the character live their fullest potential, and of course I wouldn't want to cut their life short, besides the fact that I do truly care for my characters, real or not! Motivation for a character is not something I run short on haha! I'm quite active on Scratch year-around, so there's no reason why Opie would be in peril from inactivity!

I'm applying for the fabulous Opalinekit! The beautiful backstory just absolutely hooked me, and I knew I just had to try my luck! ^^
-ˋˏ ༻ why I want the kit & why I should get the kit ༺ ˎˊ-
➷ why I want the kit
To start, why wouldn't I want this kitto? He's absolutely adorable, and has so so much lore already (so! many! opportunities!)! I'm very interested in Equinoxowl's parenting style and how it'll affect Opie! I also haven't had a TSS character in too long, and Opaline just caught my eye!
➷ why I should get the kit
As a small disclaimer, this isn't why I should get Opaline over other applicants, just a collection of my personal roleplaying strengths!
I'm quite active on Scratch, so I'll be able to reply to threads quickly, and develop Opaline's personality and follow him through his life more closely!
I also grow quite attached to characters, so I never put them in danger if I can help it, if it's true to their character!
Thirdly, I tend to develop strong relationships through my characters, both in-roleplay and out! Some of my best friends on here have been founded through my characters. Additionally, I put a looooot of time into irp relationships, both good and bad, because they truly color the character's life!
Lastly, since I've been in quite a few roleplays for quite a long time, I would like to think I'm at least a bit experienced! This isn't as much of a flex as it is that I'm just old, lol, but I do tend to be more interested in more complex plots

kit's future identity ༺ ˎˊ-
➷ gender + pronouns ◦ demiboy, he/shine
◦ Opalite will likely struggle with his identity as an apprentice, but won't spend much time thinking about it. When he's about 8 moons old, he'll feel a shift, and after a bit of confusion and possibly talking to trusted friends/family/Equinoxowl, he'll discover he's a demiboy, partially male and partially xenogender. After a bit of experimenting, he will end up using he/shine, likely for the rest of his life!
(For this application, I'll be using he/him pronouns for Opalite because that's what he'll use for his kithood)

◦ This rainbow kitty is in fact gay! This means he likes at least partially male-aligned cats! He's sort of known from the start that it's always been guys, and is proud to be gay.
I'd love for him to find a partner eventually, however this is still a whiiiile away! ^^

Opaline is a complex cat. He is dedicated to those who have won his affection and loyalty, and is absolutely one you'd want to have on your side. He's hard to impress, but it's worth it, because he'll be loyal to the end and back again. He has a certain enthusiasm for everything in life, from sunshine to rainclouds, which will certainly come in handy when lacking in affection from Equinox. He's always up for a game, an adventure, or some other sort of fun, as long as he has a say on how it goes. His passion for everything under the sun is infectious, and easily rubs off onto friends. Somewhat surprisingly, he is rather hard-working. This was founded off of the fact that he feels he has to win the approval of his clanmates and parent, however has branched out into a more wholesome aspect- he's always willing to lend a helping hand (or paw, that is).
He is decisive on many matters, rarely hesitating for more than a moment. Perhaps this is arrogance, to care little for any opinion other than his own, however it can be quite helpful in times of need. His independent way of thinking is founded from the fact that he'll spend quite a bit of time without parental guidance, and while he does take other's points of view into consideration, he believes his way is the way to go. This isn't entirely bad; he can keep himself entertained and is quite resistant to mal-intented influence. Opalinekit will grow into quite the flirt. He doesn't care much for other's emotions and doesn't mind toying with them. As a kit, this will front as simply a lack for care of other's emotional state where it doesn't effect him, however as he ages, he'll grow into this trait as it becomes more appropriate. While this sounds completely negative, there are in fact positive aspects. Opie is able to establish connections with other cats, and this can help him branch out his friendships and relationships.
Opaline can be quite abrasive. He cares little for others he has no reason to, and isn't sorry about it. He's blunt when his patience is worn thin, and has a hard time apologizing for it. He also tends to be quite haughty, with his high opinions of himself. He truly sees his feelings as of more importance, and this gives him a condescending point of view towards others.
