Band Goes On The Attack With “Shown With A Fist”
Heavy metal band Them Damn Kings is back on the attack with a new song “Shown With A Fist” and it is most definitely a barnburner. Led by New Jersey native, guitarist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Jef Rhodes, the new tune is fierce and ferocious. A crazy good riff opens the song and it really reminded me of some old-school Motorhead, driving the song forward at a frenzied pace, heavy as hell.
The chorus kicks in and it’s an earworm for sure. You’re going to be singing along by the second chorus and it’s going to get stuck in your head, which is definitely not a bad thing. The musicianship on the single is top-notch and you’ll definitely want to check out the searing guitar solo mid-way through and just listen to it blaze away.
“Shown With A Fist” is an aggressive ride that ends appropriately enough with the sounds of an explosion so Them Damn Kings definitely sends this one out with a bang. There is talk of a full-length album sometime later this year, so stay tuned to their socials for all the updates.
